    Confronting the KKK

Davis's journey to confront the Ku Klux Klan began with a question formed in his childhood: "How can you hate me when you don't even know me?" This question led him to engage directly with Klan members, seeking to understand their motivations. His first encounter with a Klansman was unintentional, but it sparked a realization that personal dialogue could be a powerful tool for change.

I decided I'm going to write a book. I have tons of books on the Klan and all kinds of white supremacy, black supremacy, all that ideology.
