Spencer Roberts discusses the prevalence of forced labor in the fishing industry, with up to 25% of fishing vessels having enslaved workers on board. The workers are often promised good wages but end up being kept on the boats for years, subjected to physical abuse and unable to escape. The problem is global and affects up to 39% of the global fish catch.
