The Dreyfus Affair

Julia tells the story of how Alfred Dreyfus was wrongly convicted of spying and sentenced to life in prison on Devil's Island. Colonel Picquart, a new investigator, later discovered that the evidence against Dreyfus was flimsy and worked tirelessly to prove his innocence, even though he had nothing to gain personally. Eventually, Dreyfus was exonerated and the real spy was caught.
