Facebook's Manipulation Tactics

Renee explains how Facebook pages were used to manipulate people into attending protests and rallies. The organizers created two Facebook events and solicited members of the group to attend, resulting in two opposing groups on opposite sides of the street. The organizers were located in Russia, and constantly tried to recruit people to be their local on-the-ground representative.
