Harri Hursti talks about his early programming experience at the age of 12, where he wrote software for a mini-computer that analyzed blood samples and created a 3D image of a heart using radioactive isotopes. Despite not being a medical doctor, he learned enough to get the job done through self-learning, trial and error, and reading.
