Amanda shares her experience of being subjected to a coercive interrogation technique by the police, who were under immense pressure to solve the case quickly due to media attention. She believed that they were dissatisfied with her answers because of her poor Italian language skills. The 53-hour questioning over five days and an overnight interrogation eventually broke her.
