The Lost City's Parasite

Steve and Jordan discuss the parasite that plagued their expedition to the Lost City. 60% of the crew contracted leishmaniasis, a protozoan parasite that is endemic in most tropical areas, and some still have it in their bodies. The National Institutes of Health is doing a research project on it because a lot of soldiers are coming back with it from the wars in the mid-east.
