War and Depression

Sebastian shares a study that showed how depression rates declined in areas that saw the most violence during the Troubles in Northern Ireland. Men felt a moral responsibility to help their brothers in the fight, but couldn't do anything about it, which led to depression. This is similar to how veterans may feel when they come home and know people who are still overseas fighting.
